Collaborative Development with Git, Gerrit, and Zuul (Development)


About This Course

This is an internal course specific to City Network.

All you need to complete this course is internet access and a web browser.

Objectives

Upon completion, you will:

  • be able to log into the City Network Gerrit environment, and find your way around it;
  • understand how to set up your local Git development environment to work with Gerrit and git-review;
  • know how to submit a change to Gerrit and interact with your reviewers;
  • understand the Zuul Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) framework and its relationship with Gerrit;
  • know how to add unit and integration tests to a codebase, and automate them with Zuul;
  • recognize specific code review issues and know how to address them.
